GANYC November 2020 Membership Meeting (Online)

The next GANYC monthly membership meeting will be conducted via the online meetings platform Zoom on Wednesday November 4 at 6 pm. The online meeting has a capacity of 500 registrants, and is open to the public. 

REGISTRATION

Registration for the Zoom Meeting is a 2-step process:

1. Start by clicking the Yes button at the top of this e-mail. This will take you to the Wild Apricot site to register. 
2. Once you complete Step One,  you will receive an e-mail confirmation with the link for registering for the Zoom Webinar. The subject of this e-mail will be "Event registration confirmed for GANYC November 2020 Membership Meeting (Online)" and come from the e-mail address Ganyc@wildapricot.org. Please make sure that this e-mail address is in your address book and if you do not receive this e-mail, check your spam folder. It is highly recommended you click the Zoom link to register in advance of the meeting.   

This two-step process allows us to credit our members for attending the meetings, and also ensures the highest level of security for the meeting so we do not suffer any "Zoom Bombing" incidents.  

MEETING AGENDA

The topic at this month's GANYC meeting will be borough history.

We will feature invited borough historians for a panel discussion on this eventful year. The historians will reflect on historical echos of how communities within their respective boroughs have dealt with biological and economic catastrophes.

Each historian will have their own introduction, and then we will have a panel discussion, moderated by members of the GANYC Education Committee.

There will also be committee reports, and the President's Address.
