The next GANYC monthly membership meeting will be conducted via the online meetings platform Zoom. The online meeting has a capacity of 500 registrants, and is open to the public. 

REGISTRATION

Registration for the Zoom Meeting is a 2-step process:

  1. Start by clicking the Yes button at the top of this e-mail. This will take you to the Wild Apricot site to register. 
  2. Once you complete Step One,  you will receive an e-mail confirmation with the link for registering for the Zoom Webinar. The subject of this e-mail will be "Event registration confirmed for GANYC March 2021 Membership Meeting (Online)" and come from the e-mail address Ganyc@wildapricot.org. Please make sure that this e-mail address is in your address book and if you do not receive this e-mail, check your spam folder. It is highly recommended you click the Zoom link to register in advance of the meeting.   

This two-step process allows us to credit our members for attending and ensures the integrity of our meeting. 

GUEST SPEAKER

Toya Dubin, President, Hudson Archival. Toya Dubin has held the leadership position at Hudson Archival since 2002.  She is a member of the Archivists Round Table and has served on the Board of the New Amsterdam History Center and the Greater Hudson Heritage Network. She will discuss the New Amsterdam History Center's Mapping Early New York project, which seeks to provide an online environment where users can explore New Amsterdam (early New York) using a variety of maps, and learn more about the Dutch Colonial Period (1624-1664) in New York’s history. Maps, a timeline, curricula, and an Encyclopedia are all free and available for the public to enjoy.
