The next GANYC monthly membership meeting will be conducted via the online meetings platform Zoom. The online meeting has a capacity of 500 registrants, and is open to the public. 

REGISTRATION

Registration for the Zoom Meeting is a 2-step process:

  1. Confirm your registration via the GANYC website or emailed announcement. 
  2. Once you complete Step One,  you will receive an e-mail confirmation with the link for registering for the Zoom Webinar. The subject of this e-mail will be "Event registration confirmed for May 2021 GANYC Membership Meeting". Please make sure that this e-mail address is in your address book and if you do not receive this e-mail, check your spam folder. It is highly recommended you click the Zoom link to register in advance of the meeting.   

This two-step process allows us to credit our members for attending and ensures the integrity of our meeting. 

GUEST SPEAKERS

To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, GANYC's May meeting is dedicated to Mexican-American heritage in New York City and tourism trends between Mexico and New York City.

Scheduled speakers include:

  • Alejandro Cañedo Priesco - President, Association of Travel Agencies and previously Secretary of Tourism for the state of Puebla
  • Jacobeth Hernandez - Consul of Economic Affairs for Mexico in New York
  • Alejandro C. Ramos, CFA - Senior Vice President, U.S. Chapters Operation & Executive Director NE Chapter The United States – Mexico Chamber of Commerce
  • Lorena Cortesguadalupe - Aeromexico-Delta
  • Moderators: Former GANYC Board Member Georgina Castanon and GANYC Board Member-at-Large, Kevin Lawrence.


In addition to this panel discussion, we will also feature the regular President's report, and other reports from various GANYC Committees, and an update on the upcoming GuideWeek 2021.
