GUEST SPEAKER Sarah Schulman is a novelist, playwright, screenwriter, nonfiction writer and AIDS historian. Her 20th book, LET THE RECORD SHOW: A Political History of ACT UP, NY 1987-1993, has just been published by FSG. Sarah is Distinguished Professor at the City University of New York, College of Staten Island and a member of the advisory board of Jewish Voice for Peace.
Sarah will discuss LGBTQ+ political activism beyond the Stonewall Riots; more specifically, the history of the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power (ACT UP) in New York City.
