The tour will cover the development of northern Manhattan, from the ancestral Lenape tribe lands to the present day, focusing on the ground-breaking spirit of the people that made this place their home and their lasting impact on New York and US history.

We will cover such varied topics as the Revolutionary War, the Harlem Renaissance, a few famous and unknown women, New York’s water supply and baseball, as we wander from one historical building to another, through major thoroughfares and quiet, serene spots.
