Dear GANYC Members
On behalf the of the Elections Committee, I am writing to open the call for nominations for positions on the GANYC Executive Board for the period of 2026-2027. The election will take place in the month of November, starting after the November 8 Membership Meeting at the Theater Center on 50th Street. Nominations for the positions may be made starting today until the day before the November 5th Membership Meeting.
Nominations and seconds of nominations may be made in person at tonights Membership Meeting at the John Street Methodist Church or later by email at election@ganyc.org or here at the GANYC discussion forum.

All nominations for the positions must be seconded by a GANYC member by the means of communications mentioned above. GANYC members may nominate themselves.
Any GANYC member in good standing is eligible to run for any position on the board.
ALL GANYC members are eligible to vote in the November election. There is no longer a provisional membership.
Attendance of the remaining Membership Meetings this year is not mandatory to run for a position, though it may be helpful to attend the November 8 meeting.
The election results will be announced at the December 3 at the ALOFT Hotel in Long Island City, and then later by various means of communication.
